Federal Student Aid Programs

Your application was selected for review in a process called Verification. Verification requires you to submit signed copies of financial and other documents to the Financial Aid Department. No Federal financial aid will be awarded or disbursed until the verification process is completed.

What You Should Do

  1. Please print your name and Student ID at the top of all documents submitted for verification.
  2. Submit the following to the Financial Aid Department:
    • - this completed worksheet,
    • - a copy of your and/or your spouse's Federal Tax Returns (signed) or Tax Transcripts, copies of W-2s,
    • - any other documents required by the Financial Aid Department.
  3. If you have questions about completing this form, you may contact the Financial Aid Department for guidance. If information on this worksheet is different than information on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you may be required to submit additional documents for clarification. If corrections of your FAFSA information are necessary, the Financial Aid Department will electronically send those corrections to the federal processor who will send you an Information Acknowledgment - Student Aid Report for your records.
  4. The best way to verify income is by using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool that is part of FAFSA on the Web. If you have not already used the tool, go to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa, log in to your FAFSA record, select "Log In", and navigate to the Financial Information section of the form.
